Yesterday, the 19th marked the third anniversary since our son Jerry went home to be with the Lord. It seems so unreal that it has been three years since he left. We are so thankful that this year, the day was a good day for us. The day was filled with peace and hopefulness. Earlier in the week, I asked the Lord to let the day be clear & sunny instead of clouds and light rain which in the past have triggered my emotions.
I went and filled his memorial vase with some holiday flowers. I’m not the best at floral design but I get by. I think the fall flowers were my best attempt so far. I spoke with another mom whose child is also now with Lord. We both agreed that changing out their flowers seasonally makes us feel as though we are still caring for our absent children.
During the night, I heard rain drops outside but I could only feel grateful because we experienced a pleasant day before the clouds rolled in. It prompted me to reflect on the title of a book that I recently came across, “Even When Bad Things Happen, God is Still Good”. Life can be so uncertain but yes, I can truly testify that in EVERY season, He IS – God IS still remarkably good.
May God continue to keep you & your wonderful family in his loving care.
Thank you Kimberly! Continue to keep us in your prayers.
Thinking of you and your family always.
Thanks Willi!

Thank you Shelia!
Ms. Tracy, know that you have been an encouragement to everyone. I still miss Jerry from our band days at CGHS. Know that he is still with us and we all still love him dearly. You and your family are always in my prayers. Merry Christmas
